For me this is definately Silence. Wolf & Raven is my favorite metal song of SA and Tallulah my favorite ballad.

I've only heard half of Ecliptica and none of Reckoning Night, which are the two favourites among my friends, so perhaps i am not well enough acquanted with Sonata Arctica yet. But from i have heard i must say that Silence is my favourite too. And i only just yesterday realised the beauty of Tallulah

I haven't checked out the new one (I guess I wont do that at all, actually), but I consider 'Reckoning night' to be their best album, mostly because of the song 'The boy who wanted to be a real puppet', which is an interesting progressive songa, and the name is great too!

That's just because they're both Finnish (and sound Finnish as well).

Sonata Arctica's got good musicians, and they're a good live band (I've seen them once), but I think the albums lacks interesting materials, I get bored after just a couple of songs. One exception is the song "The boy who wanted to be a real puppet", I never get tired of that song, it's original and interesting.

I love that song as well as the story that goes with it. I actually started writing a short story based on it for extra credit in English class but never got around to finishing it with the busyness of exam time and all. Seeing as I'm off now and badly in need of ways to fill my time, I might finish it. If I end up doing that and if it turns out not too bad maybe Ill put it up here.

I love especially the "Silence"-Album because there is only one weak track on it. And the music and lyrics on it are almost perfect. I'd like to say that this one is THE SA-Album.
