I love these guys, they're one of my favorite bands. Currently I'm downloading their complete discography (already have 4 and a half cd).
in case you don't know em, they bring - in my opinion - sometimes hypnothysing music with dark lyrics. Actually all of their songs have a dark and sad mood flowing in them, just my kind of music.

I finished downloading a few days ago and I have to say that Like gods of the sun is one of their best but Songs of Darkness and Words of Light owns all

The Deepest of All Hearts is one of the most moving songs I have ever heard. MDB has great atmosphere, a certain favorite of mine. Songs of Darkness, Words of Light is a masterpiece cover to cover. I just got the new album A Line of Deathless Kings and I'm currently digesting all it has to offer. It didn't make the earth shattering impact on me I was thinking it would but I am hoping this is one of those albums that grows the more you listen to it. It really didn't grab me at first but then again neither did Arcturus' Sideshow Symphonies...and I consider that my favorite all time album. Time will tell.

The more I listen to it the more it grows on me. Aaron's vocals are a bit different here and that was the last thing I expected.

I can understand that and I can't even say how the album feels different. It just..does. I hope I get the chance to see them live too. The best bands rarely come to America and when they do...well, it's such a big place it's usually no where close.

yeah, the best bands still come from europe and it's along way to the US but I'm sure they'll come around and do a US tour someday.

I dunno, Aaron Stainthorpe absolutely hates performing at all. Mind you when he does, it's absolutely beautiful but he has stage fright to phobic proportions...so I may have to make do with my dvd.
The more I listen to A Line of Deathless Kings the more I like it, which is certainly a good thing. I never thought MDB would ever let me down. I guess I just needed some time to diject the music.

Don't download. Buy, god dammit!
I have a lot of their cds. The rest I have on mp3, but I aim on buying those as well, one day or another.
Anyway, yes, they are my favourite band ever, together with, of course, Darkthrone.
