After my regular, real life blog which I use to vent my anger, I made this other blog, as a creative outlet.
This is from the about section of the blog:

This is from the about section of the blog:
My name is Sneltrekker, and this is a little side-blog I decided to create as a creative outlet. My main blog is called Ravings of a Madman and is hosted on a college server. That blog is mainly used to vent my anger whenever something shitty happens. I didn't want to mix up the posts of these two, and also I don't know how often I'll update this blog. So I preferred to make it a separate page.
Now, what is it about? I'm a huge roleplaying fan, and as such I recently got The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Honestly, I felt betrayed by the consolisation of the game. I still believe as a game, TES III: Morrowind is a dozen times better than Oblivion, which to me is little more than an XBox action game ported to PC.
However, I believe you can have fun doing even the most annoying shit, if you just use your creativity. So I decided to roleplay in Oblivion anyway. Even if the game was not designed for such a thing. As such, this blog will read as the In Character diary of my latest character, Rhakasha the Khajit wannabe Knight. To achieve this I used a few dozen of mods, to at least bring some of the old Morrowind feeling back to Oblivion.
Another mod I love using is Alternate Start v3. It allows me to start at any town in game instead of being forced through a lame sewer tutorial for the 5th million time after experimenting with yet another character. Not only that, but because I can choose the background of my character, that means I can choose my roleplaying style. For once I am not an amnesic prisoner who turns out to be the hero that saves all of Tamriel.
But enough for now. I'll let you decide if it's worth reading.
Some quick notices:
* No screenshots yet. My games seems to reject any changes I make to the .ini files. If I can fix this problem, you can expect quite a few though.
* I am not a Tamrielic lore expert. I am a D&D and Star Wars roleplayer first of all, my Tamrielic knowledge is severely lacking. As such I just use the game as a background for my own stories basically. I may make some small mistakes or a lot of big mistakes, when compared to the official lore.
