Personally I'm very much of a fantasy art fan; my currently favourite artist is the spanish Victoria Frances (eg my avatar ^^), I just love the realistic and detailed way she draws! My former favourites were Jessica Galbreth and Amy Brown.. www.artaskagency.com/artists/frances.asp (only smaller pictures, her homepage is under construction..) www.enchanted-art.comwww.amybrownart.comDo you have any favourite fantasy artists? Or favourite works? Tell us about them!

Not that extremely deep into it, but I love Luis Royo and Jason Engle, the latter specialises in art for Roleplaying Games (pen and paper versions), and for trading card games I believe.

Samwise Didier is a pretty good artist (did some of the art from Warcraft as well as the last 2 Hammerfall covers). He and some other artists have a fairly interesting site at www.sonsofthestorm.com/.

Peter Bergting is a very, very good illustrator for a Swedish role-playing game called Drakar och Demoner. www.bergting.com/Unfortunately, I don't think Paul Bonner or Alvaro Tapia has got any websites, especially bonner is definitely my favourite fantasy artist.

Andreas Marschall (sp?) (The guy who did the album covers for BG as well as some other bands) is a really talented artist. The detail in a lot of his pictures is stunning. His site is here membres.lycos.fr/rwild/marschframes.html.

I'd have to say that my favourite fantasy artist is Tony DiTerlizzi. www.diterlizzi.com. He's the guy who did all the art for the Planescape setting in D&D and he's done loads of stuff for Magic The Gathering and various other things. He's obviously very influenced by Arthur Rackham who illustrated loads of children's books in the late 19th century en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arthur_Rackham

Tony DiTerlizzi has a great and unique style. I haven't seen his stuff for the Planescape setting, but I play Magic, and he's really done a great work with those cards!
